2.2.9 Pre-release; Metal sonic nerfs due to new speed calculations.

Another metal sonic runner, Icezer, discovered that thanks to the new speed calculations, Metal Sonic has been significantly nerfed when it comes to retaining his dash mode, as it takes a lot longer to acquire it, as well as making sharp turns and keeping dash mode is basically impossible. This is a very significant nerf to the character in terms of speedrunning, which creates a lot of problems, mainly making old times with metal sonic basically unable to be competed against due to important strats no longer being possible. It would force us to create a whole separate category for post 2.2.9 metal, and it would definitely discourage players from running the character and learning his quirks all over again. Katsy has provided a wad that seems to revert the changes to metal sonic already, and it would be great if it was implemented.
